Moving Forward...

Today was the day I felt that I was actually moving forward in computer science. I got my printer assignment mark back and I did great on it. I was able to finish the repetition assignments and after I look through my notes today, I feel like I understand everything. This is a huge accomplishment for me. I feel like I have learnt so much since the beginning of the year. From the moment we started doing small tasks like put "hello" to now having up to a hundred lines of code. In the beginning of programming, I don't think I would have been able to imagine being able to do this much programming. I would like to thank Mr. Arkin for his help so far.

Today in class we went over some simple html rules because apparently some people didn't follow the word processing guidelines. For example easy logical rules like hyphens are for hyphenations only and special character entities are only for special characters. Also he thought us that there should be no spaces between file names and directory names.

After that we were able to have a free period class. In this free period class we were told to work on repetition assignment 12. I had a few problems on it, but I am definite I can do it at home with just some time. After a while he gave back our repetition assignment 8 modified versions back. He told us that the majority of us didn't do it properly and I was one of them. Hopefully I will fix it by tomorrow and hand it in back to him.

Tonight for homework I have to do repetition assignment 12 and modified version of assignment 8. I will go over the word processing guidelines again so I can refresh my mind on html again. And of course my wonderful daily blog. :D

As I said I feel like I am moving forward for once. I hope this continues. Well until next time fellow blog readers.
